I began to chant, I began to listen,
It began to storm snakes silent hissing.
It became apparent, courage was missing.
Kissing myself, I was
Every breath I missed, I crossed
the beads between my hands
palms, toes, clenched sand.
I began to let go,
I began to rise up.
I began to see the earth,
like a child growing up.
Struggles with temporary solutions,
with temporary struggles in temporary bubbles
that were only temporary until they burst,
like earth that birthed
like you, that surf-
aced beneath
like drum hit, vibrate, free-quency.
Interestingly, a sheep remembered its lamb.
So fourth quest back
I began, I began.
